About Jessica Tracy
MY STORY
Jessica Tracy brings nearly 20 years of diverse healthcare experience in data analytics, consulting, strategy, business development, go to market strategy and psychedelics to her partners.
Her work spans across healthcare ranging from group insurance, clinical genetics, at-home diagnostics, healthcare technology and psychedelic-assisted therapies. Jessica has led consulting and strategic partnerships with large employers, unions, health systems, payors and public sector clients. Jessica began her career in the insurance and employee benefits industry, serving as an Underwriter, Data Analytics Consultant, and Business Development Executive for a large payer and consulting firm developing financial projections and consultative insurance analyses focused on prevention and disease management solutions to improve health, mental health and contain costs. She then shifted focus to
population health where she specialized in improving hard to access care, such as clinical genetics, by applying innovative delivery models to sound clinical protocols. With her own personal experiences overcoming mental health challenges with psychedelic medicine and research into psychedelic assisted therapies, she experienced, first hand, both the profound benefits and logistical challenges that surround these healing modalities. In a purpose driven mission, she now applies her professional background and personal experiences to support education, increase access, solve for reimbursement challenges and integrate psychedelics into mainstream healthcare in a safe and affordable way.
In her work to date, she has partnered with major academic medical institutes to integrate psychedelic medicine into their treatment offerings, has pioneered insurance coverage for psychedelic-assisted therapy across employers and unions, facilitated group psychedelic retreats in the British Virgin Islands, and is actively educating and advocating for psychedelic-assisted therapy through various public speaking engagements.
Through The Sage Collective, Jessica oversees strategic advisory for the application of psychedelic assisted psychotherapies (PAP), such as third party administrators offering workplace insurance coverage for PAT, health systems integrating PAT into their research and treatment protocols, outpatient ketamine clinics, as well as other initiatives focused on increasing access through mainstream healthcare application.
She is a member of the Ketamine Task Force whose objective is to increase insurance coverage and FDA approval for these therapies through clinical research. She has completed various clinical certifications in psychedelics including Essential Contemplative Practices of a Psychedelic Therapists, Introduction to Psychedelic Therapies, and Psychedelic Facilitator Training. Jessica is also a Certified Jungian Coach where she supports individuals in coaching and psychedelic integration.
Jessica holds various designations including Group Benefits Disability Specialist, Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist and has also completed extensive courses through the Hartford School of Insurance, Commercial Lines Producer School, International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, and Employee Benefits Producer Training Program through The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research for Employee Benefits, Marketing and Risk Management. She has received honors including the Forum Award for Emerging Female Leader through the Forum of Executive Women which included a comprehensive Leadership Development and Mentorship Program, SNJ Business People's 40 Under 40 Award, and South Jersey Biz 20 Under 40 Award.
She has served on the Board of Directors for various organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health leading the Innovative Benefits Work Group, Bringing Hope Home, Devereaux Behavioral Health, Domestic Violence Center of Chester County where she chairs the Personnel Committee. She also partners with the Ketamine Task Force to drive forward insurance access and FDA approval of ketamine assisted therapies and KidsAlive International to support child victims of exploitation and trafficking.
